Now I´m home again after a fantastic journey to northern Germany with the gospel choir.
This was the first stop in Germany. Many wanted to shop this and that.
The youth hostel in Geestacht, some miles from Hamburg. A good place. Nice weather on friday!
We took a walk in the nature on our way to the town. Here runs the river Elbe.
After that walk we really deserved a cup of coffee!
On saturday we went on a guided tour in Lübeck. Very interesting. But the wind was cold!
This is "Holstentor", the only piece left from the threedoubled wall around the town.
The tour took much longer time than planned, so we didn´t get so much shopping time. But at least I made a visit in the famous marzipan shop, "Niederegger".
Here is Lübeck in marzipan in the shop window!
This is made of marzipan....
.... and also all these glazed fruits are made of marzipan.
I bought a box with different flavoured pieces of marzipan....
.... and one with liqueur chocolate.
Did we sing? Yes, on saturday evening we had a concert in a chursh. This picture is from the rehearsal. We had a fantastic audience!
Yesterday morning we sang in this old church. that was fantastic, too.
Both churches were lovely decorated - they celebrated the tanksgivind day. It was also the 20th anniversary of the German union.
It was a lovely journey - but it is always good to come home again. Now one has got many fine experiences and memories.
Jag hann sticka en del i bussen. Här är en halsduk....
I had time to knit in the bus. Here is one scarf....
.... and here is one more.
And now I have put all four, knitted in the "parrot" yarn, in my shop.
Ha det gott!
